We are looking for a full-time Quality Control Technician with a HS Diploma or Equivalent along with 2 years' experience in a Quality Control position that can verify that production processes meet company standards and ensure that the finished product meets Stupp Coatings requirements, customer specifications and current industry standards.  Wages may range from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour based on qualifications.  More details about this exciting opportunity are listed below.

The Quality Control Technician will verify that production processes meet company standards and ensure that the finished product meets Stupp Coatings requirements, customer specifications and current industry standards by performing and documenting coating parameter audits and laboratory testing and working with plant and yard personnel to assure quality finished product.  S/he will perform inspections of vendor/customer supplied products at receiving and finished products at load out and place holds, indicate and track status as appropriate as well as enter and maintain QC records in applicable data reporting systems. 

Majority of work will be performed through-out the facility, including the yard.  Steel-toed boots, hard hat, and safety glasses are required PPE at all times when working outside of the laboratory.  In addition, ear (hearing) protection is required PPE in all areas of the OD Plant. 

This hourly position requires a HS Diploma or Equivalent along with 2 years' experience in a Quality Control position.  Experience in an industrial environment is desired, but not required.  Good analytical, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Must be willing to work a rotating shift and work overtime as needed.
