Stupp Coatings is looking for a full-time Maintenance Welder Fabricator with a HS Diploma or GED and at least one (1) year of welding and metals fabrication experience. Responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment; machining fabrication materials and components; fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures; cutting and welding with a variety of processes; metal forming, bending, and finishing; and performing other duties as assigned with adherence to the highest safety standards. Completion of a military, apprenticeship, trade school, or community college program may be considered in lieu of experience. Ability to read a tape measure is required. Good analytical, technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. This is an hourly position with a wage rate of $19.07.

The successful candidate for this position must be willing to work a rotating shift and work overtime as needed. In addition, s/he must be able to move about the facility without restriction and spend time in a production environment in all temperatures and climate conditions, around large rotating equipment, energized electrical equipment in high noise areas, and/or in confined places or from platforms at heights of 5 feet or greater.

Stupp Coatings is in North Baton Rouge off LA Hwy 19 in the Baker Industrial Park. The area is a short drive from I-110 to our south and Baker/Zachary to our north.
